Chemistry

After the lecture went on, it was then time for the lab portion of the class. Jessica was seated next to Jill, a nerdy, shy girl who liked Jessica for her level headed and pragmatic personality. She wouldn't arrive at school showing so much skin, since she often chastised girls who did it to get attention. So, now that they could talk, she was going to get to the bottom of the situation.

"Hey, what's up with you outfit?" Jill asked.

"Long story, but my sister and bad luck basically." Jessica answered.

"That's sucks, but I guess wearing those shorts isn't as bad as wearing a skirt, right?"

"I didn't really think about that, but you're right. I don't have to worry about it exposing anything if I shift the wrong way."

With that, the girls went to work on the experiment, which dealt with acids and bases. Small vials of liquids were numbered and not labelled, and the students had to determine which were acids and which were bases. The experiments went fine, until the end of class when the students were putting things away, now knowing which was an acid, one student who wanted to exploit the vague note rushed up to Jessica and "accidentally" spilled the acid on her back.

"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry!" the girl feigned a shocked expression.

"What did you spill?" the teacher asked.

"Vial number 2." the girl replied.

"Jessica, get that shirt off and get under the chemical shower now!" the teacher ordered.

"But..." Jessica began, not sure if she wanted to say why she couldn't take her top off.

"Now, before you have to go to the nurse's office!"

Jessica thought for a moment, she could save herself some exposure by going to the nurse's office, but that meant possible harm to herself...
