Charge a shot, but aim where she's going to be!

She didn't have to worry about dodging at the same time, so she could put everything into her aim. Most importantly, since she knew Buster Girl was going to dodge, aiming for where her she was going to be would be important.

"I dunno... you're the first other robot I've seen with one of these!" Buster Girl said that as though she wasn't certain what to think, but the goofy smile she was wearing suggested she must not mind it. "Ready when you are!"

Unfortunately, Buster Girl had simply feinted. Break Girl's eyes were hidden, but even following her body language was enough for the heroine to read where the shot was going. As soon as it was fired, Buster Girl simply stood where she was, and Break Girl was treated to the laughter of her opponent. "Who's that supposed to hit?!"

"You... didn't move?!" Break Girl complained, now feeling red in the face for a different reason as she tucked herself back into her outfit. "What if I fired right where you're standing?"

"Ha ha! You're kinda silly! I would have just moved, of course."

Break Girl moodily tugged on her scarf. "That jerk... Well, whatever. I've got to take the lesson from this. It could be dangerous to try and assume my opponent's actions without reading their tells... I may face exceptionally mobile opponents, or ones skilled in combat tactics, and I probably can't hope to land hits on an opponent like that with marksmanship alone. Plus, if I miss, it'll make me look like a total doofus. I need to read their patterns and body language... Or, until I do, maybe I need to play it safe? I guess the strength of the charge shot is I can gather the energy while doing something else... At least, once I get used to it, I'll be able to."

Break Girl paused, putting a finger to her lip. Had she trained enough? By this point, she was pretty sure she'd thought up a foolproof strategy that would put Buster Girl in her place. Although, she had to admit... "It's going to be a shame, destroying her. Buster Girl was a worthy opponent, and she seems like a good girl. It'd be nice if we could just be friends... And... I've got to admit, she's super, super cute. Maybe I should train a little more before finishing her off..."
