Chapter 17 The Wedding on the Ship

Shepard - Knows that this might be the last time he'll every get to ask Liara the big question. So on the bridge of his new ship. He corners her.

Liara - Shepard what are you doing? We're in middle of a battle.

Shepard - Liara T'soni, I know that this might be a bit of a bad time to ask. But as he starting to get on one knee says. Will you do me the honor of marrying me?

Liara - Shepard you are asking me to marry you. Even know how I already feel about you in front of the whole crew. I'm surprised you ask me this now and not later.

Shepard - I may never get another chance to ask you and I thought it was a good time.

Liara - Shepard you know what my answer to your question is. In fact you have always known that my answer was yes I would marry you. But why now and what is going on here. I thought we was winning the battle?

Shepard - Um no and yes. I'm not sure if we are going to win. The two other Alliance Fleets won't be here for another two days and by thst time no one will be left. I'm not sure we're going to make. In fact I was just told we lost six more ships now. From what I have been able to tell the emeny has a secret weapon that we most of not known about or they hsd it very well hidden.

Liara - Listen to me. We're going to make it. Do you understand me.

John - Good liara. I will be keeping you at my side all the time my love.

Bridge open a channel to Sheppard's quarters. Sir we a huge unidentified ship with no markings aproching the fleet at high speed. Its closing faster then anything we have. All are weapons are pointing at the ship. Also all hails have gone unanswered sir.

Shepard, Understand. I'm on my way way and ready battlestations. I want all hatches Lock and shields and armor up to full. Also just in case ready **** team's in case we are boarded.

Bridge, Sir the ship stopping ten feet in front of of use. I don't know what they're doing but I have a bad feeling Sir. Ashley and Samara report to my quarters now. I have assignment for you both.

Ashley I'm on my way with Samara. Well out side the quarters. But your not hear computer says your on the bridge.

Shepard, Ashley and Samara your assignment is to protect LiaraT'soni at all cost. Nothing is to happen to her is that clear. This is your assignment I'm trusting you both.

Ashley and Samara both looking at each other then answering. Yes we both understand clearly and follow you're orders. But I heard you tell liara she is to stay by your side all times.

Listen the ship in front of use has stopped and is not moving. Are hails still going unanswered so far. From what I've seen. The ship isn't in Alliance database. In fact it's not in Turian, Asari, Salarian, Quarion or Geth databases either. Thought it looks old and is earth design.

Shepard - Yes go ahead?

Security guard - Why are you having use protect asari sir.. Don't get me wrong or anything. But if there all powerful as you say. Shouldn't They be protective of you sir. Not the other way around.

Shepard - I see what you are saying. But this Asari is different than the others we have encountered before.

Security guard - Please explain Sir.

Shepard - Let me put it to you this way. Anything happens to her and I'll shot you myself. Is that clear a nuff for you.

Security guard. No Sir.

Shepard - That Asari has a name liara T'Soni and I married her. So insulting her is insulting me. Do you understand now.
