Chaos!

Madyson had finally decided on the spell to cast. A cone of ice might help slow down those fireballs! She lifted her wand and started the incantation. One thing she hadn't counted on, though was that Pyromancers didn't take any time deciding on spells, and didn't need long incantations to channel them, either.

Jessica had been watching the mage with suspicion, and, just as Madyson started to cast, she changed targets and launched a tongue of flame her way.

Madyson was caught off-guard as the mantle of her own outer robe burst into flames. She could feel the heat, but, as always in the arena, the magicks prevented real harm from befalling the contestants. Shedding the flaming outerclothes, she was still modestly attired in a long, grey dress.

Jessica had interrupted whatever spell the mage had been casting, but had allowed the ranger time to line up a shot. An arrow tore through the dress between her knees, taking much of the lower part of the garment with it. The ripped section of the dress waved ignominiously in the wind from the fletching of the arrow shaft like a red flag. Jessica looked down and saw far more of her legs than she hoped would be exposed at this point. She could take either one of these sisters, but she feared that she was outmatched by the two together. She was in serious risk of losing and being at the mercy of this dumb jock and this teacher's pet. This, she couldn't allow.
