Challenge accepted!

"I'll do it." You say, sounding more confident than you actually are. "What?!" Gravis and his son- Jax- say at the same time. "Please consider what you're saying my friend!" the perplexed man says "This is going to be your first ever mission, you don't want the stakes to be that high from the start, do you?" While you appreciate his concern, you're adamant in your decision. You can't stay in this guild if you're only going to end up being met with the same distrust here as in the rest of the village.

"Very well then. While I didn't actually expect you to take the challenge I still prepared a mission for you."
Jax states matter-of-factly as he takes a neatly folded piece of paper out of his pocket. As he hands it to you he briefs you on the situation you will encounter.

From what you can gather there's been a bandit attack on a nearby village and people fear that they might come for your village next, so your job is to take care of them before that can happen. Their hideout seems to be in a forest north of the attacked village so the easiest way to get there would be to take the road connecting the two villages and find your way from there.

A while later you have packed up your things and leave for your first mission. As you pass the town square you faintly hear people whispering if you're finally leaving for good. You calm yourself with the thought that you're well on your way to prove them wrong.

By now a few hours have passed, but it seems that you almost at the destroyed village. And indeed as you proceed you slowly see the destroyed buildings and smoking houses rise on the horizon. While you ponder on spot something else too, a little girl and her mother being harassed by a man in rough leather armor!

You run to help and by the time you arrive the man has taken the mother into a ****. "Let her go!" You shout. He finally acknowledges your appearance and says. "Run along boy, two adults are talking here." he then turns his head towards the woman's ear and whispers barely audible "Ain't that right wench?" Ok, you're going to kick his ass, but how? When he's holding the woman you run the risk of accidentally hurting her...
