Carrie looked away from me, arms crossed over her chest. To be honest I wasn’t sure what to do. I really wanted to get dressed, but with Carrie getting to boss me around I didn’t want to make her mad at me.
“Please, I just don’t want to show off to anyone else,” I said, trying to make it sound like I only wanted her seeing me. Well, her and our other two friends.
“Fine, I’ll cover you up,” Carrie said. A smile formed on my face, while Lisa and Alicia looked upset Carrie was going easy on me. I reached to take my shirt from them, before hearing Carrie continue. . . “But only once we’ve made it to camp.”
My smile left, and the shirt I’d been inches away from grabbing was yanked away by Alicia. There was always a catch with these three. My arms quickly retracted back to my body to shield myself, but were cut short by Carrie’s own hands.
“That means no covering at all till we get there, Erica,” She said. “So keep your hands down.”
I opened my mouth to argue, but Carrie made a twisting gesture with her hand about an inch away from my breast, so I decided against it. Slowly, I relaxed my arms, showing I would do as Carrie said. She gave my bare thigh a gentle pet, smiling at my obedience.
“See, and you were scared I’d do something wild like make you walk up to the front of the bus. Although...” Carrie said, my breath catching in my throat at her implication. She saw the look on my face, and just laughed at me. “I’m only teasing, Erica. We have a long week ahead of us. Can’t hit the climax this early. Well, you might on a few occasions, but you get what I mean.”
