Car Wash: Emily washes the cars herself

About ten years ago, Emily's parents decided to invest some of their savings into a business, in order to have some extra money alongside their regular income. They ultimately decided on a car wash, and the moderate success of this car wash allowed them to send Ashley (and soon Emily) to college without having to go into debt. All they asked in return is for their daughters to help out every now and then. Emily didn't mind too much; it was only a couple days a week and although it was incredibly boring it wasn't the worst thing ever. She also enjoyed the fact that she was getting paid above minimum wage, something not many of her peers in high school could say.

Once Ashley graduated college she returned to working at the car wash. However, since she graduated with a degree in business management, she was easily qualified to be one of the managers in charge of the daily operations of the car wash. Since Ashley became a manager, her parents trusted her enough to let her run the business during the weekdays, while they took over during the busier weekend hours.

This leaves Emily under her older sister's supervision during her Wednesday shifts, and under her parents' on the weekends.
