Can the marker tell the time?

"What do you mean 'tell the time'?" she asks with confused look on her face.

Grabbing her phone you check the current time. It reads 8:55 AM. "So instead of effectively setting a timer, which COUNTS DOWN or UP the set amount of time, I want to see if it will WAIT until a specific time and then execute, like setting an alarm clock".

Reaching over again with the marker in hand you begin writing on her arm, and as soon as you've finished, Stacey explodes into an orgasm. "Uuhh, there are time-zones that divide the world, it's nine AM here, but its eight AM an hour to the west; therefore its eight AM and nine AM at the same time, just in different locations."

"That's just confused me even more Finn".

"It seems it can't tell the time, because it doesn't know the time where it is, but it can count it. Does that make sense?" you simplify, picking up your pad again to add to your notes.

"I still don't get it babe. Biology was my science of choice, not physics or chemistry or whatever it is." Stacey says, clearing the table and moving to the sink. "How do you think of this stuff anyway?"

"You can thank my comic strips babe. I spent two days trying to figure out how a time paradox would work and went down a rabbit hole about a month ago." you answer, finishing your addition to the pad.

• If the words are damaged/broken/struck through, the effect is destroyed/discontinued - Confirmed on sentient and inanimate targets.

Time related:

• The marker appears to keep track of time from the moment the marker leaves the subject - can count time.
• The marker can make an effect last a specific determined time.
• The marker can detect the time, but not relative to its location. It cannot be set a time (like 7 PM) as its always that time (7 PM) to it.
