Eileen storms out of your office, slamming the door behind her. You smile, thinking, then buzz your secretary.

"Meghan come in here and shut the door." A moment later she enters, holding a pad and pen, shutting your door.

"Yes sir, what can I do for you sir?" she asks, standing in front of your desk. You look at her sweet, worried little face and smile coldly at her.

"You're fired, Meghan. Clean out your desk and go home."

She looks at you stricken, her lips trembling, tears starting to fill her eyes. "But why, sir?"

"Because I don't need your mother showing up here to defend you. Because you're not worth the effort to make you worthwhile to keep. Take your pick, just get out."
