Caleb's perspective

I've been staying this mansion for about a week. I hear voices. The voices of many people. None of them are Frankenstein. I try to hide but bizarre creatures attack me. They look like a cross between human girls and a dogs.

They chase me, growling and barking. Trying to bite me. Trying to eat me, to kill me. They are so much faster than me.

I have to fight them. I have to kill them. I hide inside a room I'd been using as a bedroom. Armed soldiers burst into my room. Most of them are human except the one dog girl.

"This is the monster?" one of them asks.

"Captain! Is this boy what we were sent here to capture?!" another asks.

She a tall beautiful and slender woman with long, light blue hair and large breasts that remind me of an anime villain. She is also naked. "Yes. It's hard to believe but this seems to be the case."

"I was expecting something more monstrous but he's just a boy."

"Idiot! Don't let your guard down!" the blue haired captain says.

The dog girl starts growling.

"Hey, what're you doing?! Calm down! Calm down!" the soldier holding her leash says.

The large dog girl barks loudly and leaps on me.

"Stop." I protest weakly, in a scratchy voice, but the dog has me pinned to the floor.

Its teeth tear through my clothing and pierce the skin of my shoulder.

I can feel my blood flow from the wound. I grab the dog girl by the throat and throw her across the room.

"What in god's name?" a soldier says. "It just killed that Chimera like it was nothing."

I fall to my knees. Just looking at the misshapen corpse makes me feel awful.

The men surround me tear their gaze free from the mess and back away, still surrounding me.

"Watch out! It really is a monster!" one of them says.

"Don't move! Move and I'll shoot!" says another one. Fear and confusion, doubt and anxiety. It's just as before. It's very scary but somewhat familiar.

"Surround him but keep your distance! He can kill you with his brute strength!"

"Compose yourselves, men. He doesn't look like he'll try to resist." the captain says.

I remain on the floor, but I look up to meet the speaker's eyes.

"Even with this incident with a hound, he tried to stop it, but it was over too quickly. He didn't intend for it to happen." The captain approaches me and gently kneels down, putting her face at my level. "I would like to apologise for the rudeness during our sudden visit. Would you please come with us?" Her gentle but firm tone leaves no room for argument.

After a brief pause, I nod. "Your naked."

The captain screams and covers herself up. She now reminds me of a completely different anime character. After she gets dressed, I stand without another word, and leave my room behind.

I have no reason to resist. The people are so tense. I see fear in their eyes. They see me as something foreign. I wonder if these people will kill me. If that is why they have come here, so be it. I had reservations but I'm not scared. I'll probably just reincarnate in yet another world.
