You start by buying back your underwear because despite what you just did, walking around naked is not very comfortable. then purchase a small backpack and fill it with food and then start thinking about how to spend the rest of the earned money. You could buy a dog or a horse or better weapon or leather cap to protect your head but than, in the far corner of the shop, you notice a dusty box with magical cherries of gain experience. It is a very unpopular item. Gold to XP ratio is so abysmal that no sane adventurer will ever consider buying it, but for you It is just enough for gain your first level.
Decision is made. You grab cherries and eat them almost instantly.

What do you get from the level up?
You come into being as a low-level monster, the kind heroes chew through like popcorn. You know the drill, whether you're a player yourself or an artificial intelligence, and you're sick of it. You set out on your own quest: to defeat the heroes at any cost (or at least be an epic boss somewhere down the line).
