Still a bit skeptical, Faith(1) tucked her stake away in the hollow of her back but kept herself alert. "All right, I'll play. Where we gonna find this guy?"

"My guess, his office." Faith(2) said, nodding her head downtown, toward the City Council building. And without another word she took off toward it, not bothering to look back and see if her younger self was following.

Shaking her head, Faith(1) followed.
