Chapter 2 by marshall626 marshall626

What's next?

Brother (Robin) and Sister (Alice)

Tim had asked If I wanted to join the week-long party he was throwing on his dad's yacht, obviously, since I hadn't seen him for a couple of months I agreed right away. We took two cars to get down to the dock, Tim didn't tell me who was in the other car just that Becca, his twin sister, was driving and the other four were all her friends. The trip down was extremely boring, I sat up front with Tim and we talked on and off to catch up with each other, I didn't really speak to the others since I didn't know any of them. Alex and Jake spent the time on whatever handheld consoles they had brought with them talking about video games and stuff like that the entire time. While the other guy Eric was eating weed brownies every so often so that he was stoned out of his mind until we arrived.

By the time we got to the dock we were all exhausted, I pulled my bag onto the deck, and Tim asked me to go get everything set in the helm, Tim's dad had shown us how to drive the thing, it wasn't easy, but after a few lessons, we got the gist of it. Soon Tim yelled for me to set off and we were on our way to open waters. about an hour in Tim told me to go get some sleep because the next day we were going to be in international waters and everyone was required to party.

Everyone had done the same so when I woke later on and came back up to the helm to see Jake at the wheel I was a little shocked but there was nothing around us and he seemed to be doing a good job. It was about midday when everyone started to come out and soon Tim had cranked the tunes, autopilot had been turned on and the drinks were being knocked back.

It wasn't long before I decided to take a walk around and introduce myself to some of the girls that had come with us, I wasn't exactly a ladies man but I wasn't scared to talk to a girl either so I headed into the lounge part of the yacht only to spot someone I didn't expect... My little sister Alice. I told her off and was kind of pissed but we had been out to sea for around 6 or so hours, most of that being time I wasn't conscious, and everyone would likely be pissed if I tried taking us back now. I gave her a stern talking to and told her that she shouldn't go too hard with booze and I sat with the girls and got to know them a little.

Everyone had stood on the deck to watch the sunset then we continued our party, drinking and dancing and jumping in the pool, everything you'd expect for a yacht party. My night turned sour when I came back into the lounge area to find Eric trying to talk my sister into doing LSD, she looked extremely uncomfortable and I could tell he was trying to push her. It didn't take me long to get over to him and clock him, he was out for the count, and after explaining to Tim what happened, he apologised profusely saying that they were only supposed to be bringing weed and mushrooms and that he'd made it a hard rule that no one was going to peer pressure, anyone, into doing anything they didn't want to. Tim was cool like that, he wanted to try things and was pro but also respected that it wasn't everyone's thing.

We continued through the night after Tim had disposed the harder and eventually Eric came back into the party but stayed away from me and my sister. The next day we decided to chill, but midday things took a turn for the worst. The sea began to get rough and we were caught in a sudden downpour, then CRACK lightning struck the helm and a fire broke out. Everyone panicked and in the commotion, I fell overboard.

I could hear someone yelling my name but as waves crashed over me and the storm raged on, I couldn't make out who's voice it was or where it was coming from. I tried yelling back but only got a mouth full of water and my vision slowly faded into darkness.

I could feel the sun beating down on me, the sound of waves and rustling of leaves. The only thing that could be better would be if the pressure on my chest wasn't making it uncomfortable and a little hard to breathe. I tried to roll a little but whatever it was seemed to be attached. I cracked my eyes open only to be blinded by the sun.

When I could finally open my eyes I looked down to see Alice, strapped to me with a large rucksack attached to her back.
