Brendan- Late 20's man

Coming back from another day at the office, Brendan sees a slightly roughed up package by the door to his apartment. He bends down to see no real name on the return but his name and address on the label. He walks into his place and sets down his stuff from another day at the firm. He was close to partnering with the other lawyers. Getting his name on the building with them. Opening the package he sees the ray gun and a note. It reads

"thought you might want to spice up your life. hope it makes it to you safe. worked wonders for me.

• Chuck"

Brendan chuckles at the ray gun and remembers Chuck's antics from college. He reads the instructions and shrugs. He aims the ray gun out the window at a jogger and pulls the trigger. She is lit up in red and he aims it again at himself.
