Breakfast Time

Talk of the Triwizard Tournament was sweeping the school. Everyone wanted to be chosen.. The thought even excited me, but with recent events I had other things on my mind.

"Good morning Cho," said Padma. Cho Chang sat beside the twin sisters. Padma had been talking this whole time, but I had barely heard a word of it.

Instead my focus was on the Golden Trio. Specifically Hermione. Hermione looked like she hadn't slept a wink. Her hair as disheveled as ever. She must have had a good time.

I felt a kick to my leg, and saw Cho Chang looking at me when I turned to her.

"Morning Cho," I said, and a half hearted smile came to her face. Cho and I didn't speak a word this morning during our practice sessions. We just trained in awkward silence. Maybe I should say something to her. I bet the girl was terrified that I was going to share what I had seen, but that wasn't even a thought for me.

A hand clapped the back of my neck.

"Idius, and ladies," said Michael Corner. The long haired Ravenclaw was one of my most trusted friends in the house. Even though he was known as an exaggerate, and a loud mouth, he understood me. He was also a shameless flirt, which could rub these girls the wrong way.

Pleasantries were exchanged, before he told us why he had come.

"I managed to rile up Malfoy and his goons," said Michael, "Like really rile them up. So if you are interested, he is on his way to Potter at this moment."

We could see everyone around us go silent, and many from our house instantly reacted.

"Only the second day and already these two are going to duel," whispered the excited masses.

All of us jumped to our feet, only Cho Chang not showing absolute glee. We moved to the other side of the Hall. Seeing that even the students from the other school were interested in watching what was going to unfold.
