Break Girl approaches Magnet Girl's elevator.

Stepping into this elevator seemed like stepping into an enemy trap... Break Girl reviewed what she knew. Magnet Girl obviously knew she was here, and had sent the elevator to collect her. Based on the fact that a huge swarm of security Mag-Flies wasn't greeting her, should she assume that Magnet Girl didn't think she was hostile? But she was breaking in during the middle of the night... It didn't seem to add up. No matter what happened, she should keep in mind the type of opponent she was facing. Magnet Girl was, by all accounts, not someone you wanted as an enemy. More than just a scientist, she was supposedly a crafty combatant.

That said, there really didn't seem to be any option but to take the elevator. "Geez, do the fire marshals know this place has literally zero stairs? Is that where Dolly's domination started? Greasing the palms of local fire marshals to overlook her gross negligence of the local fire code?!"

The time for joking to herself was over. As soon as she stepped into the elevator, an even voice full of what sounded like strained friendliness greeted her from the speaker. "Good evening, Break Girl. Or should I say good morning? You've come calling at quite a strange hour of the day."

"Yeah..." Break Girl stayed silent, still hoping to feel out if she was talking to someone who thought she was a friend or a foe.

"Well, I happened to still be up," the mature woman's voice continued. "Plenty of work to do, after all, but I'll make time to greet you. I have a feeling we have a lot of notes to trade, especially since Dolly's communication network went down."

"Uh-huh..." Break Girl didn't care if there was a camera somewhere watching her, she was putting her shades back on! Maintaining a poker face was too hard without them.

"So, where would you like to meet up? It'd be my pleasure to show you around the laboratories."

Break Girl had a feeling she really didn't want to see Magnet Girl's evil, secret laboratories! No thanks! Was there any other option?
