This is a story about a mother/daughter bounty hunter team. Brandy, the mother, is an ex-college athlete who set records in multiple track and field events. She gave birth to Samantha at the age of eighteen as a senior in high school with Tim, who entered the Marines when he graduated. On Brandy's twenty-first birthday, Tim brought her out to celebrate when a guy out on bail killed Tim when Tim tried to help the police stop the guy in a chase. Brandy quit college and became a bounty hunter in a way to grieve and honor Tim. Tim's mother raised Samantha when Brandy wasn't around.

Samantha followed in her mother's shoes when it came to be a high school track and field star but would not go to college. Instead, she talked her mother into letting her be a bounty hunter as well. She is a big thrill seeker and a bit of a nympho as well. She has been known to use her feminine wiles to catch the people on bail.
