Bonnie takes Derek to a party so he can embrace his inner bimbo.

From what Derek 'remembered' about Bonnie, he expected her to react to his claim with a moody pout, but instead she beamed even brighter and pulled out her phone, turning it to Derek to show him the screen. "There's an end-of-summer party at Chad Weller's house tonight! We're both on the invite, obvs, and it sounds super duper fun! Let's both go, and if you still, like, wanna turn back to into those guys afterwards we totes will. But if you end up wanting to stay hotties, we do!"

Derek's first reaction was to turn down the deal, but then he reconsidered. It would, like, be her 'first' popular party, and it would be a total shame to miss out on it. And they could turn back after, right? "Alright," he acquiesced, "let's do it."

That decided, the two girls spent next several hours putting on make up and getting dressed up. Derek, like, was totally just pretending to enjoy it, y'know? It wasn't actually fun to make herself look super cute and find the exact perfect combo of clothes to make herself as sexy as possible...himself! Himself as sexy as possible...

Soon enough, they found themselves at Chad's, looking fine as hell and ready to enjoy themselves. The guys at the party were friendlier to Derek than, like, anyone ever was before he'd changed, and he found himself checking out the studs on the football team and eyeing the beer, even though he had never had alcohol before.
