Blow the bomb!

"Plan B? Recoil asked. "Do you mean...?"

"Yup!" Cutlass gave a viscous smile. "Blow up the bomb, take our loot and escape in the chaos."

"You're crazy." Recoil shook her head.

"Hey, you're the one who built the bomb!" Cutlass acted offended. "You want to see it go off just as much as I do!"

"You know me too well!" Recoil smiled at her partner under her mask. Though Cutlass couldn't see her face, she smiled back.

"Uh... surrender!" Janet said, sounding not at all confident.

"Sorry honey." Cutlass said as the pair turned around. "But you're interference is the reason this is happening."

"Wait... what?" Janet asked. Recoil pulled out the detonator for the bomb.

"No, stop!" Janet shouted, moving forward. Recoil pressed the button.

Janet looked to the bomb. It's display lit up. There was a ten second countdown.

The hostages began screaming. Janet looked at them, then back to the bomb.

Janet hesitated. What could she do about a bomb? She had gotten a D in chemistry!

Cutlass and Recoil began backing away. The hostages, too scared to run, cowered in the corner. Janet still didn't know what to do. She looked in horror as the timer ticked down.
