Blend in

The sudden speed at which the guards mobilized shocks you. Not even a minute after Elena breaks the quite and already they reacted to her cries. You whirl back towards Morina, ready to leave the brothel with the wizard.

"Morina, we sho..." Your voice breaks and warning unfinished when you register that the female wizard is no where in sight. You desperately look across the street for any sign of her but find nothing.

You sigh ready to run when the wooden doors of the brothel come flying open and patrols of guards come charging out. The gold armored guards take one look at you before running into the streets. Pushing aside various passerby and prostitutes, they run across the road and split up into smaller groups past a fork. Following them are more and more groups of shining sentries resolved to catch the thief. They too merely glancing at you before departing

You stand confused and frightened as to why the Guards didn't try to capture you or question your presence. Then you remember that you're dressed in a guard armor and understand that the arriving Brothel guards believe you to be one of them on watch duty. In fact you might be able to escape later when guards stop charging out the Brothel doors.

That is if you don't blow your cover or if Elena doesn't come. If anybody can pierce your disguise its her.
