Blake's Turn

"Look like Blake is up next," said ruby as she took a small sip of her drink.

"that's the Faunus teammate right," Whitley asked to Ruby's shock. "Weiss hasn't said much about her time her but I have heard a little bit from what she has told winter. also bows don't twitch like that."

"sorry I was just a little shocked," said Ruby. "I don't think outside of my team and JNPR no one else knows about Blake being a Faunus. she wants people to judge for who she is not what she is."

"I guess I can see where she is coming from but personally I think that plan will backfire in the end," said Whitley. "once the truth gets exposed it will cause others to see her as a liar and a layer of mistrust would always be present. not to mention her fellow faunus might see her as a coward and look down on her for doing it."

"yeah I can see what you mean but I think she is just afraid of people seeing the ears and not the person they are connected to," said Ruby.

"yeah I can think of a few people like that," said Whitley. his father being the first to come to mind.

"so how well do you think she will do," Ruby asked.

"decent but not as well as you or Weiss," said Whitley. "I wanted to insure I would win with you and Weiss was a bidding war do to her connections. she is beautiful so she will get plenty of bids just not as high. unless those who lost for Weiss want some eye candy for a day and create a bidding war."
