Chapter 3 by TrpclThndr TrpclThndr

Who should we meet next?

Biology

The first relevant lesson anyone had that day was Biology. George was lucky enough to share this class with Benji and Danny; however, he was unlucky enough to have a teacher who decided where everyone sat, so he couldn’t even speak to them.

Some would also call him lucky for having said teacher: Ms. Greene was renowned by the student body as the hottest teacher. She had a wholesome beauty that, combined with big tits constantly attempting to burst free from her shirts, had most of the student body wanting to call her ‘mommy’. Danny certainly understood how lucky he was, considering how much time he spent ogling her. However, George’s eyes were elsewhere.

He sat in the back right of the class, next to Brionna Garcia, the head cheerleader and arguably the most popular girl in school. The Filipina girl was utterly stunning: long, black hair, pouty lips and dark eyes. She was known for being incredibly friendly and talkative: she wasn’t popular for no reason.

Now, those in the audience familiar with the tropes of the Teen RomCom genre may be rolling their eyes at the prospect of the geek having a crush on the head cheerleader. How cliche, right? Well, jokes on you, because Bri isn’t who George has his eyes on: rather, it’s who she’s sat next to.

Currently engaged in a conversation with Brionna (or rather, being talked at by Brionna) is Anissa Kaur. She’s a member of the Nerds: always getting straight As and leader of the ‘Interact Club’, which does extracurricular work for charities. Every teacher loves her, and it’s easy to see why.

George had been borderline obsessed with her since they sat next to each other in Physics the previous year. Her family was originally from Pakistan, and she was very attractive in a cute, girl-next-door way. She’s smart, she’s funny and most importantly, George is capable of having a comfortable conversation with her (which is more than he can say about most people).

“-and I understand that he isn’t that smart but he is just so, so nice and so, so hot, like he is the textbook definition of himbo, and he just has these puppy dog eyes that mean I can’t get mad at him. And I don’t want to be the girlfriend who demands her boyfriend’s attention 100% of the time.” Brionna finished her long-winded tangent about her boyfriend, basketball star and amateur rapper Christian Frost (George was only half listening, but he thinks that Christian did something to piss Brionna off, but she let him off anyway?).

“You really want my honest opinion?” Anissa prefaced. Brionna nodded. “You’re way too good for him. You deserve someone who cares about you as much as you care about them.”

“But I feel like deep down, he does care.”

“You shouldn’t have to look deep down. George?”

George didn’t respond. He had conditioned himself not to respond to his own name, since there was another George (George Grey) in most of his classes who everyone liked more. It was only when Anissa said his name again that he looked up. “Sorry. Yeah?”

“In your male opinion, is it bad for a guy to forget he scheduled a date with a girl and then hang out with his friends getting drunk?”

“I mean, common sense says yeah. But like, I don’t really know how valuable my opinion is for this, specific thing.”

“What do you mean?” Anissa asked genuinely.

“Well my, like, ‘male opinion’ probably won’t line up with the majority, or like, the demographic you’re aiming for.” George rambled. He had been caught extremely off guard by being brought into the conversation and he hadn’t fully recovered. To be fair, it was very unlikely that he’d ever recover.

“Do you know what you’re trying to say here?” Brionna followed up.

“I’ve just never… never had a girlfriend before. Is what I mean.” George instinctively flinched when he let that slip.

“Wait, seriously?” Brionna responded, shocked. “Like, not even a fake one in Middle School when everyone was **** to be in a relationship?”

“I’m sorry, when did this conversation become about me?” George snapped out of panic.

“Sorry, we’re being intrusive.” Anissa apologised.

“Yeah, a little, but, you know… don’t worry about it.” George awkwardly smiled before returning to his work.

God, with game like that, it’s a mystery why he’s never had a girlfriend!
