Chapter 25 by robyna
Does he agree to Pam's proposal?
Better to stick with High School girls
Yeah, Pam was hot. But realistically, Matt knew his chances were better with High School girls. And fake-dating Pam was likely to screw up anything he might get going with Cindi.
"I've got plans this weekend," he said.
Pam looked at him, then turned her eyes back to the road. She drove in silence for a minute or so. "Fine," she finally said. "I was just testing you to see if you were interested in my sister or only interested in sex."
"Uh, did I pass."
"Oh, sure. I mean, it's not like I'd actually date you. But if you were a jerk, I'd want to warn Cindi."
He wondered if that were true. But either way, he'd made his decision.
"That wasn't very nice," he said, "but I have a sister as well so I understand wanting to protect her."
"Well." Pam pulled into his driveway. "We're here."
"Actually, I'm in that building in the back."
"The garage?"
"It's not a garage. It just looks that way."
"You live in someone's garage. I mean, I knew you weren't rich but I had no idea you were, well..."
"Pathetic?"
"That isn't the word I was looking for.
"We get by," Matt said.
"Must suck to be you, though."
"Don't tell Cindi, okay?"
"She'll have to find out someday."
"I'd rather she didn't find out before she decides whether she likes me or not."
"Yeah, whatever. See you around, Matt."
Does anything else happen?
