Beginning your new life

You wake up early on a Monday morning and have to get ready for a day ahead at college. You jump in the shower and make yourself presentable for the day. You're ready to go go college and meet new people and hopefully get a girlfriend too. You and James had promised that you would both try your hardest to get fit this time around instead of just playing video games majority of the time.

You head to the kitchen and see your family already eating breakfast.

"Hey son, you ready for college today?" Your father Said in his French accented voice."Remember you and Megan are going together. Don't forget"

"Yea.. if only we had a car that we could take.. would be much quicker than catching the bus"

"You want a car.? you have to bloody well earn it. Maybe instead of playing video games all day and jerking off why don't you get a job and buy your own car. That's how I had to do it in my day.."

Your father valued hard work and that was clear. Nothing was given for free in this household unless you bled for it.

Your father looked annoyed and gave a stern look to your mother. You're not sure what's been stressing him out lately but he hasn't been the same these past couple of weeks.

"Alright dad jeez, it was just a joke. I'll make it work. Let's go Megan, Cya mom" you give your mother a kiss on the cheek and go out with Megan. You both catch the bus together to college.
