Chapter 12
by CrocodileHAZARD
Blackfire has joined you. For now. Where to next?
Before you can plan your next stop...
You begin to imput the coordinates for your next designated stop, however your hands are soon in the grip of a set of orange, feminine ones. The grip is not painful but it is firm enough to let you know that, for now, you have **** but to comply.
As expected, Blackfire is still wound up from earlier. The interruption certainly hasn't helped. Before long she's dragging you to the back of the ship where she tosses you onto the bed in the sleeping quarters. She's quick to remove her clothes, leaving her bare before you within seconds.
Before you could rise up, she crawls over you until you are eye-to-glowing eye.
"Before anything else, you are going to finish what we started and I will not accept no for an answer."
You sigh to yourself internally.
It's going to be a long day...
By the time she's finally sated, your ship has already detected that your approach to Earth is eminent. Within half an hour or so, you'll be re-entering the atmostphere. Now that you have the time to think, you should decide on your next target. As it stands, Blackfire is...relatively loyal. She will be enough to detain her sister as long as she keeps her arrogance in check. Off the top of your head, you begin considering other individuals to recruit for your cause.
Brother Blood and Cyborg have some history between them. Given how Blood augmented himself with the same technology as Cyborg, the duo should be relatively equal. But Blood has known to obsess over the fact that Cyborg is unable to be controlled. And that's not mentioning the potential he has for trying to manipulate you and your team. You have a few ideas on how to keep him in check, but the question is whether or not he's worth the hassle.
For Beast Boy, Madame Rouge is a familiar enemy with an interesting ability that parallels his own. While her specialty is mimicing people, she has displayed far more creative applications for her shapeshifting. While Beast Boy's tranformations give him an edge in physical capability, Rouge is not unfamiliar with breaking down stronger opponents than her. Still, her loyalty to The Brain and his Brotherhood of Evil might make impossible to gain her allegiance.
Raven is...not nearly as easy to devise a good counterforce for.
As for Robin, Red X would be one of your top choices, but his allegiances are very questionable. Despite being Robin's enemy, he has assisted him on multiple occasions. Usually out of a sense of "debt" to the Boy Wonder that demands he repay in some form or another. He's hardly the trustworthy type, and he's certainly not a team player or one to take orders. Still, he is a criminal. And it is a given that even he has a price.
But perhaps there are other, unconventional options available to you?
Who do you recruit next?
