Be her white knight

You rush in, and cut loose Evellyn's restraints, before scooping her up in your arms and carrying her out of sight, in the treeline. You place her down behind a tree as time begins to resume again. Evellyn is startled by the sudden change of scenery, but - uncharacteristically - breathes a sigh of relief when she realizes it's you, before noting she's still naked and curling up her legs. You offer her a jacket to drape over herself, which she wordlessly accepts.

“Are you alright?”

You glance over in the direction of the elves, and she follows your eyeline, before whispering: "They ambushed me, came at me from all sides and dragged me off my horse.."

"Good thing you tapped the ring," you reply, not breaking your gaze from the elven band.

"Yeah, a good thing indeed. So now what?"

"Now I'll do what you hired me for."
