DJ PON3 was a well-known name in almost every club across both Canterlot and Ponyville. Partying was the only hard thing she did, rather she's the DJ or fellow party goer she was grooving along with the crowd. But outside of dancing Vinyl wasn't one for putting any real physical effort into things, relying strongly on her magic for any kind of tough work, or any kind of work in general. Needed a drink or snack from the kitchen? Levitated to her from her bedroom or the couch. Something on a sorta high shelf? Floated down to her waiting hoof. T.V. remote just a little out of reach? You bet she's gonna use her magic. She would only grow lazier as she danced less and DJ'd more, her talent snagging her more and bigger gigs. Spending hours doing nothing but standing or sitting while playing music suited the lay about mare just fine. With such a lazy lifestyle and her ever growing fame in the club scene Vinyl was bound to start gaining weight sooner or later.
