Back to work.

After only a few minutes, you both step back out to see the rest of the crew sitting around the campfire. One of the men is starting to put it out, while the other is gathering the supplies together. It seems to be time to head out soon.

"Glad you two are back. It's time to go," says Bill. "The compasses are working again for some reason. Dunno why, but both started going crazy for awhile."

"Were you taking a leak together or what?" Phil asks.

Niki starts to get flustered. "No, no. Just a coincidence."

"Hurry up then. We need to get to the cave before nightfall so we can set up camp again."

The party gets up and it's time to travel once more. As you go, Lady Tesgella gives you a strange look. It's like she's watching your face, trying to read it, like someone playing poker. You look over to her in return, and she simply smiles, and shifts her gaze back to the trail ahead.

If she's adventured this much... did she know it was a witch that was messing with things?

Onwards to the next and final destination. Hours continue to pass, and the sun sets over the horizon. The woods become even more unsettling with only the light of the party's torches to illuminate the path, and the sounds of animals scurrying and growling, and their looming gazes, haunt you the entire rest of the way. You're incredibly thankful you're travelling with who you've been told is a powerful woman.

Finally, you arrive. A hole surrounded by rocks and boulders in the side of a hill extends diagonally down into darkness. Bill and Phil begin setting up everybody's tend, as well as sparking a fire yet again. You can hear the sound of flowing water nearby, and the clearing you're in has a clear view into the star-filled black sky. It's actually quite serene, besides the gaping hole to god-knows-where beside you. You start to grow worried about travelling down there, even if it might not look as intimidating during daytime.

Lady Tesgella stands up at one point during setup and disappears. You don't notice she actually left the camp entirely until you don't see her for a few minutes. Worried the witch is back, you stand up and wander over in the direction she went, and you peek around through the trees.

You follow the sound of rolling water for a few minutes and start to panic. But then, through the thicket, you reach something--a deep, wide stream carving a clearing straight through the forest. You also see something else.
