You are awoken by your alarm app sounding. You grunt angrily as you struggle to grab your phone and put an end to the irritating ringing. As soon as you finally locate your phone, it is ripped out of your hand.

"Nope, you have to get out of bed before you shut this off." You roll your eyes at your wife's words. Reluctantly, you pull yourself up into a sitting possition. You know your wife is doing you a favor, you've often turned your alarm off and fallen back asleep. You can't remember how many classes you were late to in college because of this.

"How the hell are you so happy and active every morning?" As you asked her, Katherine reaches down and hands you your phone. You finally shut off the alarm.

"I'm just a morning person. And, I got laid last night." You laugh at Katherine's joke and get out of bed.

"Don't forget, we got the party tonight."

"Ugh, I know," Katherine sighs. "Speaking of, Kayla texted me yesterday and asked to borrow this necklace for the party. Can you give it to her at work later."

"Of course." You take the necklace and tuck it into the pocket of the pants you are going to wear to work. Heading to the shower, you go about your morning ritual to prepare for work. You say goodbye to Katherine and head towards your office.

As soon as you walk into work, Stephanie runs to you and wraps you in a hug.

"Thank you so much, James!"

"For what, Steph?" You feel a little uncomfortable with a sexy college girl pressing her body against yours.

"Thanks to your wonderful notes on your work yesterday, I was able to answer every question a client had about his potential order. He was so impressed with how well I was able to help him that he called corporate to give me praise. Corporate called Emily, and they offered to end my internship and hire me as an employee. I'm now getting paid here and I can quit my part time job."

"That's awesome, Steph! It's about time for you to get recognition for all the great work you do."

"Thanks, but I couldn't have done it without your help." She finally releases you from her hug, and you head to your desk. You notice you have a lot less work today, than you did yesterday. Still you get ready to tackle your work.
