Back to her secret spot!

Lexi takes you back to the snack corner, where you two sit and relax with relieved sighs for the short time that remains of lunch. Lexi had her head back against the vent wall again, and rolls it over to look at you.

"For real, you're all good?" She asks. You nod, and that seems to put her more at ease. "I should've checked how often people went in and out of the room, like I normally would've. I just really wanted to show you something cool.{if LexiTruth == True} And.... I was kind of hoping to find something that, like, proved beyond doubt that the Sorority were evil, after you told me you were in there. For both of us, really. I wanted to be really sure that they sucked. I feel like what we got was a bit too weird to confirm anything but that they're doing some sort of thing.{elseif ArgentEnemy == True} Real dumb of me, especially after you told me they were after you and everything.{endif}"

"It's okay!" You tell her. You grab a bag of chips from the pile of snacks and hold it out to her in an offering. She chuckles and takes it.{if LexiTruth == False} Even though you're not sure if she's right or not, you're feeling a bit guilty for not telling her the truth earlier.... she's still your friend, after all, even if it turns out she's totally wrong.{endif}

"You're the best, Debbie." She says with a warm smile. "{if LexiTruth == True}I'll keep you posted if I find anything that proves me right. Or wrong." She takes a munch from the bag you handed her, and you pay close attention to her reaction, because you've not tried that flavour before and want to find out if it's good. Looks pretty good, from her face as she swallows. "I really hope they don't figure out you were there. But if they do, and they try anything on you, I'll kick their asses.{else}Can't wait to marry ya after getting forgiven for a million other mistakes.{endif}"

Though you're a bit worried they might come after you after seeing you in there, you're not too worried. You did a really good performance as being a simulated thingy, so if anything, they'll just think someone else came in and took you.

The bell rings out loudly through the vents, the sound bouncing around the walls.

"Ah, fooey. You've got classes and stuff now. *sniff*" The still-sick Lexi says. "Well, have fun. I'm gonna try figure out what they were doing with those thingies. If you want, I'm still down to play you those songs later today."

You smile and nod. Lexi leads you back through the vents to the room with all of the computers, and drops you off with a wave and a pack of snacks to munch on on your way over to your last two classes. That was certainly an odd way to spend lunch, but not entirely regrettable. Only partially. At least Lexi seems okay, still!
