“Well what the heck were you talking about in there?” Shawna asks while squeezing your hand as you walked onto Campus. You explain that You can use Tom’s machine to get jacked and you saw it turn an Old lady into a fresh young woman. Shawna is not really buying it, but she’s going along with you.

You get to the door of the science building and text Tom. He meets you at the door seconds later. He is flush. “Thank God you came back! I think our window with the CRISPR 2.0 is getting smaller!” He greets Shawna and rushes you back into the lab.

This is it, you roll up your sleeves and Shawna says “this better not take forever, and you owe me a dinner after you dragged me out of the Shoe Store, I think you made Clark mad” “Good!” you respond and Shawna says “He’s normally a nice guy, I don’t know where that attitude came from today.” Tom tells us its going to be about an hour and she grumpily sits down in a corner to dick around on her phone. You’re fully connected to the machine, and your fingers start going numb as the blood begins to run through the machine behind you.

The Machine is thrumming behind you, and your DNA is changing, you can feel it. After the numbness dies down, you feel a strange yet powerful energy! You can’t believe this is happening, from your hair to your toes are pulsing with energy, you do feel like a superman! After another 45 minutes, you hear the machine switch off, Tom removes the tubes, grinning madly. “How do you feel?”Shawna asks. You tell her that you’re shaky yet feeling good overall. You don’t notice any changes. She folds her arms skeptically. Tom then tells you it takes 4-10 hours for them to really kick in.

Tom is smiling and cleaning up, looking over the reports the machine made about your DNA. “ohh shit...” tom says suddenly frowning. “WHAT?!” you ask understandably concerned. “I forgot something, that's all” he wipes his brow. “what was it!” you demand, you’re having trouble standing, and feeling panicky. “its not too bad, I don’t think, I left the machine calibrated for two X chromosomes instead of switching back to X Y after aunt Maeble’s treatment. I don’t think we even touched them, ohh wait, yes we did, shoot.” with a serious look on his face, Tom swabs your cheek and stuck the sample in another machine.

“Ok, man, it looks like you do have it...” you look at him expectantly. “you’re biologically female now.” he winced, and said “ Look I can fix this, roll your sleeves back up, I’ll set it right.” you swat the back of his head lightly and sit back down.

Just then the professor bursts into the room with reporters in tow. “ladies and gentlemen, I present. CRISPR 2.0! this device is a miracle of modern sc...” Then the Prof noticed you sitting in the chair and Tom standing behind you. “This is Tom McNulty, my Star pupil” he said “but Tom, why are you here?”

Tom gulped and told the professor that he was just showing his old pals the equipment and that we were just on out way out. You hastily made a break for the exit and into the street below.

Once you were on the street, Tom apologizes to you and Shawna, “Guys, I’m so sorry, I’m going to fix this up, I’ll get us back in there. There could be some intense side effects to a man with female dna. I should be able to get us into the lab tomorrow morning.” Shawna is laughing and rubbing your chest. “ooh I cant wait till you grow boobs, I’ll paw you like you do to me, get ya back!” you say that’s ridiculous and laugh it off, but a glance at tom’s pursed lips makes you realize that could actually happen. “dammit Shawna, I don’t wanna Joke about this, it’s serious!” you feel like a panic attack is imminent.
