Chapter 4 by hewhoismany

Who did Sokka think about?

...Azula.

Walking the streets of Ba Sing Se, holding that coin, wondering what life would have been like if he had been born a powerful bender, for some reason all he could think of was Azula, princess of the Fire Nation. She was arrogant to the ****, but she was the best, right? The coin he carried in a pocket began to glow brightly, and in an instant Sokka was someone completely different. He was a young woman of around the same age, late teen years approaching true adulthood, with an athletic build that emphasized combat over beauty. His skin was the same shade of Water Tribe brown, but far smoother and more well-kempt than it had been before. More than his gender, Sokka knew the life he had just been granted.

Though not technically royalty, Sorra of the Water Tribe enjoyed being called a princess. The most powerful waterbender in the last hundred years, Sorra outshine her sister Katara in both skill and beauty, though even Sorra herself knew her sister's social skills were useful on occasion. With a tactical mind and the surety of genius, Sorra was ecstatic to take the fight to the Fire Nation. Sokka shook his head, trying to sort out how different his life was now, and yet he, she, could feel the water in a nearby stream the same way she could feel her own arm, as if it was an extension of who she was. Was this what bending was like? It was difficult not to laugh, and Sokka wasn't even sure why she was stopping herself. She was now perfection incarnate!

What does she do now?
