Awekens in a lab

After, unknown to Alex, days pass before he wakes up in a strange lab like hospital. Once awakened Alex looks around the strange room and feels a strange tingling throughout his body much like his whole body feels asleep. After a few moments, an alarm sounds breaking him out of his inner contemplation. Alex hears an enchanting but far off voice but could only make out a few words like accident, Cadmus, injury, and strangely superpower. This is all he can make out before his body starts to make him scream in agony before he passes out once again from the pain.
