Author’s Note

When I first began writing “Sharing is Caring” I was writing it for myself. I was exploring an idea that I didn’t see anywhere else before. I was shocked to see how many people also enjoyed the story and how many people flooded the comments to explain their take on the story.

When I first started the story I tried to make it somewhat vague so the reader could fill in the blanks with their own thoughts and feelings on what was happening outside Dean’s perspective. This made people either see Brooke as a good girlfriend or a bad one. People see what they want to see even though it might not have been what actually happened in this story.

I never imagined spending so much time writing this story. At points I felt discouraged and didn’t want to write anymore but seeing all the comments from you guys helped me push through fatigue and writer’s block and I thank you for that.

I feel as though this is a good time to end the main storyline for Dean and Brooke. The Master Plan has set its course and has come to fruition, also is possibly ready to take its next victim, although that is a story that I am not willing to tell.

Thank you to all the loyal fans that stuck by from the beginning and to any new fans, read the comments, there is a lot of good discussions and insights in there.

I will be going on a hiatus from writing, I don’t know how long or if I will be coming back. I have a few chapters in the drafts that I wrote awhile ago and will release in the coming days.

I would love to see chapters branching off from the main storyline, I know some of you have great ideas and I would love to hear more about them. Please feel free to add on as long as it makes sense for the characters and the story.

I’ll be checking into this website periodically.

I’ll try to answer any questions you have as well.
