Attacked!

Over the night, your plane was refueled and restocked, but you’re not planning on leaving yet. At the very least, you want to meet up with your contacts, but you know it will take several days for them to get here.
Suddenly, one of the guards you paid off approaches the plane. You sprint through the plane and go out onto the tarmac, and wait for the guard to approach you. He walks up to you, glancing left and right, and then nervously tells you that the local government is planning something. You thank the guard for his help, and tell him to leave now. He looks hesitantly at you, and then walks away.
The moment he turns around, you wipe his mind, so that he forgets anything and everything to deal with you. It should be enough to keep him safe for now.
The exertion of the mind-wipe tires you, though, and you head back into the plane. You make sure that it’s ready for take-off in 30 seconds, although you doubt that anything severe will happen. After all, what can the government accomplish in less than a day? Besides, your bribes should have been enough to keep you safe for a few days, at the very least.
Suddenly, a stern looking official approaches the plane, and you exit, looking curiously at the official.
“The Chinese government requests that you leave Chinese territory and airspace within 2 hours,” he begins, but you’ve already heard enough. You raise your palms, launching arcs of lightning at him. They flash through the air, but are stopped abruptly but a yellow shield of energy that surrounds him.
The official smiles at your feeble attempt, and returns with bolts of his own energy. You don’t recognize him from any of your files, so you suspect he must be a mutant kept secret by the Chinese government.
You dodge the bolts, and they dissipate in the distance. You raise your hand, and slow down time. He begins to fire a wider barrage of bolts, but you easily slip between them, and you fire an attack at him. It dissipates against his shield, and you grunt in frustration.
You need to end this, quickly, or you’re not going to fly out in 2 hours.
