Attack!

A good offence is a good offence, as the saying goes! It makes a lot of sense. Which is why it's a bit surprising to you when your good offence isn't that good of an offence at all.

Your attack was fine, but the monster had its own one too, and it wasn't much of a competition being fair -- the two of you hit each other at the exact same time, but with you only just about to lean into your strike. Instead of being able to, the scythe arm that hits you in the side completely throws you off balance, and your attack ends up doing nothing at all.

Even worse than that, though the hit you absorbed was surprisingly unpainful (seriously, it didn't even {if Armour == 2}break through your school blazer{else}scratch your armour{endif}...), it still had a lot of **** behind it, like a great big shove. From a bully. Which only makes you want to get back in there and land an attack on this monster even more! You fall to the ground despite your fiery passion, although you still manage to keep a hold of your {if@ Weapon == 2}Sledgeaxe{elseif Weapon == 1}{if BatonVolt == True}staff{else}batons{endif}{endif} on the way down.

Still, you're in an exceptionally unfavourable position right in front of this monster. The monster that's really really strong. The monster that's really really strong and quick. The monster that's really really strong and quick, and is preparing to attack you again!!
