Atlanta Survivor's Camp

"You have selected the Atlanta Survivor Camp, enjoy your stay." The voice said to you before you felt yourself once again slip into unconsciousness. However, this time you awoke to the sound of crickets and small chatter in the distance. You opened your eyes and looked around, seeing that you were now in a tent, laying down on a cot. A draft of cold air hit you, causing you to shiver, while you got up and walked out of the tent. You stretched and scratched the back of your head, looking around in some slight confusion.

You could see a large firepit, Dale's RV and even the city skyline of Atlanta past the trees. You took a few more steps and immediately felt a hand slap you on the back, "Hey John, now that you're up you should get ready. We need to go out and check the traps." Shane said with an easy smile,

"Oh, uh, right. No problem Shane." You said with a short nod,

"Great, but take your time it's no rush." Shane tacked on while he pushed past you, bringing a few more pieces of wood to the firepit.

You grinned a bit, this was amazing, everything was just perfect like you always imagined. You made your way to the firepit as well, where most of the others were sitting, eating some breakfast. "Morning John, we saved you a plate," Amy said with a short laugh while passing you over a plate of food,

"Heh, thanks, Amy. Guess I should be lucky huh?" You joked while settling down on a lawn chair,

"Oh don't worry John, we wouldn't let you go without anything to eat," Lori reassured you,

"Just don't expect to get the good stuff," Allen said with a little snicker causing the others to laugh,

You let out a laugh of your own, before taking a few bites of your breakfast. Seeing as Rick was nowhere to be seen, this was obviously before he woke up from his coma. That would mean, you had a little while to screw around before anything got too crazy. While Shane did ask you to help him check the traps, you figured you could always convince him to let you hang back at the camp. You couldn't lie, you could think of a lot of other things to do staying here instead.
