Athena returns to the tower

You sit on the couch in your office and fiddle with one of the token's that Shaxx gave you. You get another knock on the door, this one is far more gentle than Shaxx's. You open the door and Athena is enters.

"So, did you watch the match?"

"I did, it was quite the spectacle." You toss her the token. "You were amazing out there."

She blushes and grips the token tightly.

You sigh as you stand.

"What is it?" Athena asks.

You were about to explain when Failsafe starts. "John has been requested by crucible handler Shaxx to use his skills as a scavenger to gather rewards for the top three competitors. That is bad news!"

"Why is it bad news?"

"John has no form of travel or way to collect the reward!"

You sigh again. "Why couldn't I just explain it?"

"I am trying my best to act as a ghost, considering I am now in one's shell."

Athena chuckles. "You really nailed mine." She then gestures to the door. "You know, I can take you wherever you need to go."

"I'd really appreciate that."

"Alright then, let's go!" Athena says with surprising enthusiasm, gesturing you to follow her as she leaves.

You follow her to the hangar.

You watch Amanda and Athena top off the ship's fuel supply while Failsafe makes sarcastic comments about your decision to help Shaxx.

"You're all ready!" Amanda smacks the side of the ship and holds out a thumbs-up.

After boarding the ship you and Athena begin to discuss where you should go to get the rewards.

"Alright, where do you think we should go?"

You shrug and sigh. "I don't even know what sort of stuff I should look for."

"Well, I think that the guys I was fighting would really just want new guns. It probably doesn't even matter if they will use it." She leans back in her chair. "Nobody expected a reward, we all though the reward would be being the best of the best." She folds her arms and taps her fingers, her face turning a light shade of pink. "You don't have to worry about getting me one." She bites her lip, then sighs. "Being with you is already good enough for me." Her face practically starts glowing before she takes a deep breath.

You contemplate for a moment on how you should respond. You get up and then sit beside her. You wanted to say something, but feared that you had no good response, so you instead wrapped your arm around her. "Are you tired?" You ask. "You sure did a lot today, and I certainly could use some sleep."

"Yeah." She rests her head on your shoulder. "I could too."

The two of you sit like that for a while until Athena lets out a yawn and stands up. She tells her ghost to return to the tower and then enters the changing room.

She exits wearing a blue tanktop that is fitted to expose her stomach, and nothing else but a pair of navy blue panties. You see now more than ever just how defined her abs are. You also take note of the small crucible insignia tattooed onto her outer-right thigh. "Room's open." She begins to lie down.
