At the beach, with Danica & Rachelle.

On a mid-afternoon, Early November day, you drive to Venice Beach. As it is a cool, mid-autumn day, there aren't many people out at the beach, save for those who are riding the waves on their surfboards, or playing beach volleyball, or using the bikeway. After parking the car, & checking your smartphone to see where Danica & Rachelle are waiting for you, you walk over to the spot. You find the two fitness models stretching out on the walkway, near the grafitti walls, sporting similar fitness gear to the ones they wore at yesterday's studio photo shooting, with a few exceptions.

You see Danica in a pair of blue gym shorts that goes down to her knees, and a red tank top, while she ties her hair into a ponytail at the back of her neck. Rachelle has already done the same with her blonde hair, as she opens her jacket, showing you her lavender tank top, and black shorts. She waves you over with a smile, and you walk over to the ladies, as they head to their packs nearby.

"You made it just in time, Alex." Rachelle tells you, as she & Danica open the bags, revealing their rollerblades, along with all the pads & helmets they need. "Danica & I were hoping you can take photo of us, as we skate on by, then do a few basic moves in the skate park."

"Yeah, I can do that." You tell them.

"After that, and we slip out of our rollerblading gear," Danica tells you, "we'll head to the ocean, do our run, and then wade into the ocean. Does that sound good?"

"Sounds good, ladies." You tell them.

Initially, it may've seem like they were taking a little too much of your time, as you watch over their stuff, while taking photos of them as they skate on by on the bikeway. When you move to the skate park, you watch them do a few grinds and jumps over the ramps. The style at which they do it, to your amazement, make some of the young skateboarders look in awe. After awhile, they exit the park, and head to a spot, where they can slip out of their rollerblading gear. You give them their respective bags, and watch as they remove their helmets, followed by their rollerblades, and then their knee & elbow pads. They they remove their socks, and you watch as they then stand up, and slip off their shorts, and gym tops, revealing their bikinis underneath. Danica's bikini is blue, with a bra-like top; while Rachelle shows off her light pink two-piece, with ties on the sides of her hips, and the triangle tops, with ties on the back of her neck, and mid-back.

"Aren't you ladies cold?" You ask them playfully.

"Nonsense, Alex!" Danice tells you, laughing. "I'm used to much colder weather than the 64-deg. weather you're having now."

"Being a Santa Barbara girl, Alex," Rachelle tells you, "I'm used to this at this time of the year."

Carrying your pack, and theirs, you walk with them down the beach, towards a good spot near the ocean. There, the ladies lay some beach blankets for you to sit on, and you check your camera settings & angle, before they start on their run. As they do that, you switch your lens to one with a large zoom range, so that you can take photos of the ladies, even from about 20-30 ft. away. You take a handful of photos as they run back-and-forth along the shores, logging in at least 5km. Then they slow to a cooldown walk, stopping to face you, as they blow kisses your way. Now they turn, and run towards the ocean, diving into a crashing wave, as soon as they were deep enough. Then they emerge, and you watch as Rachelle whips her head forward, then back, getting just the right timing & angle, to get the picture of her hair, as it whips forward, spraying excess ocean water into the air. You stand, as Danica lays on the sand, partially sideways, waiting for you take photos, as a wave crashes onto her. Then she stands, as Rachelle joins her, and they do a few more poses for you, where you then give them the thumbs up, signaling that you're done.

You watch them pass by, so that they can wash off the sands, & the ocean salts, then they rejoin you on the beach. You wait for them to dry off with a pair of towels, before you show them the photos. Both women look at the photos carefully, then they smile to you.

"Look at that timing, Danica." Rachelle tells her. "He got that photo as I was whipping my hair forward & back."

"Aaww, look at that one." Danica speaks next. "Look at the timing between the shots, as that cold wave crashed onto me."

"And you hardly flinched, when it went over your back." Rachelle replies. "Look at that next photo he took of me. I kinda look like a siren, a mermaid that has magically changed her tail fins, into human legs."

"We definitely chose a good weekend to do these photos with him, didn't we?" Danica asks Rachelle.

"I agree." Rachelle replies. "I think the magazine will like them, too, if they want to see them, as well as yesterday's studio photos."

"Too bad Ken & Lindsey had to catch a flight back home, instead of staying here." Danica tells Rachelle. "They could've done this with us."

"And thank you, Alex," Rachelle tells you, "for doing this with us. Perhaps we can give you something in return, tonight?"

"A good dinner night would be a good start." You tell them.
