Chapter 4 by Grongo
What classes were the two heroes?
Assassin and Knight
The first hero is a petite redheaded woman and is obviously an assassin. She wields two ornate daggers, and wears light leather armor that looked fairly practical and didn't make her look like a stripper, which was a rarity among female armor models. She is level 23, and she had most likely dumped all of her skill points into damage or mobility, since her total health is very low even for an assassin. A single cleave should be enough... but getting it to land was the hard part.
Her ally, a larger blonde man, is a knight. He wears iron armor and wields an iron sword and shield, pretty much the stereotypical image of a low level knight. He looked nervous and uncertain, even a bit afraid, which again is a pretty rare sight considering your reputation of being an embarrassingly simple and easy boss. Though his concern isn't fully without merit, as he is only level 6. He has a little bit more health than the assassin, but he is still within one shot range.
Your boss theme begins, and although it's a bit on the lighthearted and goofy side, it gets you in the mood for battle. "I'll make a souffle out of your guts!" You yell out. Oh god, here we go again with the goofy, food based battle lines... you were programmed to spout them out randomly during combat, which wouldn't be too much of a problem if there weren't only like 5 of them and at this point you were tired of hearing them. Dammit, get your head in the game! You begin lumbering forward towards the assassin, she was the main threat here, if you took her out her noob friend should be easy pickings.
"Quick, use the scroll!" The assassin yells out. "Uh, oh, ok!" The knight says as he fumbles to pull out a rolled up piece of paper with a red binding. He unties the binding and unrolls the scroll. "Inflict Burning!" He yells out, which prompted a fireball to shoot out and the scroll itself to disintegrate into ash. You had absolutely no hope of dodging it, and the ball of flames slams into your stomach, setting your body ablaze.
Ouch, ouch, fire, fire! As if being burned alive wasn't bad enough, because of your weakness to fire and poison you were taking a ton of damage. Powering through the pain, you continue walking forward, to your surprise the assassin was running straight at you as well. You raise your cleavers up, winding up Chop Chop. The assassin dashes forwards, striking your belly with both blades , shaving off a considerable chunk of your health, and then quickly dashes away to the side. When you finally swing down, you completely miss the assassin.
You had forgotten how much of a pain in the ass assassins were, at least with rangers and wizards you felt like you had some chance! This Tango continues on for some time, you wind up an attack, she rushes you, strikes you, then retreats and you deal no damage. At one point, you stop to use gorge, gulping down a delicious steak. However you were **** to stand still so a special animation could play out, allowing the assassin to get some free hits in, resulting in an overall loss of health for you. Meanwhile the knight is standing to the side, letting his overleveled friend do the dirty work. Even though he barely contributed, he would still get a load of exp when the battle ends, likely enough to level him up a few times.
A few minutes later, you are low on health and the assassin shows no sign of slowing down. Sigh... seems like this would be another loss for you. You hope that they get their drop on the first try, otherwise this will have to repeat over and over for the rest of the day...
All seems lost... what happens next?

Game Monster
From Creep to Boss
You come into being as a low-level monster, the kind heroes chew through like popcorn. You know the drill, whether you're a player yourself or an artificial intelligence, and you're sick of it. You set out on your own quest: to defeat the heroes at any cost (or at least be an epic boss somewhere down the line).
