Ask her what she's doing tonight

Things are going so well with you and Hillary Scott that you don't even realize that it is getting as late as it is getting, or that you are now alone in the now-empty meeting hall with her.

"I should probably be going," Hillary tells you, noticing that she is the only member of the band that hasn't returned from the event yet, "we have a performance to get ready for tomorrow."

"What's the rush, Hillary?" you ask her, not really wanting this to end unless you were going to be in charge of how it ended it, "the show's tomorrow, right?"

"What are you trying to get at John?" she says to you, a hint of a mischievous smile on her face as she walks out of the meeting hall with you, wondering just how bold you were about to be with her.

"Nothing really, Hillary," you tell her, trying to hide your own mischievous grin, "except that I was wondering what you were going to be doing later, since I know you were just trying to get rid of me with that "I have to get ready for a performance" excuse."

Now that that was out there, there was no taking it back, so you start to make a beeline for the door just in case things don't go your way, only to be stopped by Hillary.

"If you wanted some more time alone with me, all you had to was ask John," she tells you, laughing, "let's go."
