Ask her to get naked for you.

You decide that it couldn’t hurt to just ask. Nothing beats straightforward honesty about what you want.

“Oh, hey!” Carly greets upon noticing you. She gives you a big open smile and pockets her towel, giving you her full attention. “What can I help you with?”

You are blunt and straightforward with your request, “Take your clothes off.”

Carly looks at you and blinks. She stares for a second, expecting you to explain or at least elaborate on your last statement. Finally, after you give no sign of giving her anything, she asks, “Excuse me?”

You respond just as succinctly as before, “Take off all your clothes.”

Carly furrows her brow. You hold steadfast, not giving her any clue to your intentions. She looks around for hidden cameras, then nervously checks you over for some sort of weapon. Finding nothing, she raises an eyebrow and slowly asks, “... Is this a joke?”

You stand there, waiting expectantly.

“Sir…” Carly starts, cautiously, “Whatever you’re on, I think you’ve had enough…”

You stare silently.

Carly looks over to Lynn, who is still enjoying her ice cream at the table, and asks, “Is your friend alright?”

Lynn holds her arms up in the air as if she is as confused as the ice cream clerk is. Carly turns her attention back to you and goes, “Look, you go back and sit with your friend and I won’t call the cops on you, deal?”

Seeing that standing around will only get you a view of a jail cell, you relent and sit back with Lynn. Lynn licks her ice cream and stares at you.

“Well, that didn’t work,” you admit.

“Are you mental?” Lynn asks, doing her best to hold in her laughter. “What did you expect would happen?!”

“Let’s just forget about it…” you mutter.

“You want to give that another shot?” Lynn asks with a raised eyebrow.

“I think I pretty much blew my shot,” you say.

“Come on, I call a do-over!” Lynn announces. In your mind, the events that just transpired suddenly rewind.
