Ask for clothes

No way the woman would bring Lauren back to her apartment. In her eyes she was completely dependent of someone to take care of her. It was better to ask for clothes or something she was more likely to get.

"I'm cold" said Lauren in a voice as childish as possible.

"Ha, no surprise to me" answered the woman. "Let's go get you something to wear, inside." She clapped her hands and called for the children that were playing. In no time all kids were back with the woman and ready to head back to the daycare she owned.

"It's just a little walk to my house OK?" she said to Lauren. Lauren did not know how to answer and just nodded. The woman lead the kids back to the apartment complex and back to the daycare. In the way in Lauren was happy not to run into any other neighbors.

The woman, who apparently was called Muriel, opened the door to her apartment and let everyone in. The kids stormed their way to the consoles and TV while Lauren entered awkwardly.

"Just go play with the kids over there, I'll go see what I got for you." said Muriel and she made her way to another room. No way Lauren was going to do any more playing. She waited near the door for way too long when the woman finally came back.
