Ask for a lantern

Linkle was many things (at this juncture, mostly embarrassed. And kind of cold), but she wasn't a thief. At least, not when she had a choice. (Really, who would give a wolf a sword and shield?) But at the same time, she wasn't going to demean herself by trying to "jiggle her way into a discount". Intentionally. Which really left only one option.

Internally cursing her strong moral compass, and constantly reminding herself that she had to do this for her friends, Linkle attempted to cast aside her shame and approach Coro. The "cast aside her shame" part wasn't really going so well, as evidenced by her nervous blush, but she tried to appear confident, even, with a little bit of trouble, stopping herself from covering up. She figured that if she pretended her nudity was normal, the notoriously lazy lantern seller might not even notice.

And it seemed to be working. Coro barely took notice of her as she walked up to him. Now came the hard part. Well, the hard-er part.

"Umm... Hello, Coro. Could I have a lantern and... two jars of lantern oil, please?"

Coro's response was exactly as expected.

"Sure. That'll be 20 rupees."

Linkle sighed. "I, uhh... I don't actually have any money.. but I really need that lantern to help my friends! They're in danger!"

Coro scratched his head. "Danger? Well in that case, I guess you can have a lantern. If you do me a quick favor."
