"Hey Morgan, how are you doing?" Jenny doesn't seem to be aware of what you did last night judging by her sincere tone.
"Hey can I ask for some advice, or some help, or...something? I did something really stupid last night..."
You explain everything that happened last night in as many details as you can remember, you're frustrated that parts of your memory are again fuzzy. Jenny listens to it all with a sympathetic ear.
"And you're being honest when you say you don't know what came over you?"
"I know, I know it sounds stupid. But I don't know how else to explain it, it's like I turned into somebody else that night."
"If that's the honest truth, I really think the best thing to do is just explain it and apologize. Just be careful with your words, she's probably even more confused right now then you are."
You spend a lot of time going over how you should apologize. Should you get a gift? No, that could send the wrong message. You look out the window and see the sun setting. How much time have you wasted? You put on a jacket and hurry out of your apartment, if you want to say anything today you'll have to be quick.
You only make it halfway there before you start feeling hot again. It's even worse than it was yesterday, maybe you should turn around. You lean against a wall and rub your temples as you try to focus. You haven't really done anything today, what could possibly be making you feel like this?
