Ashley, but something was different.

As the camera popped up on the screen, Sabrina gasped. It was, indeed, Ashley, red hair and all. However, there was a major difference to her physical appearance. A large, deep scar was present across her face. It began above her left eyebrow, making it's way down her face, across the bridge of her nose, and down her right cheek. Sabrina sat in awe at the sight, tears coming to her eyes.

"So... I have to admit a few things." Ashley started. "My name is Ashley, but I'm not 19 like you... I-I'm 22." She studdered, obviously nervous. "I was... Well I was in an accident when I was 20 that left me scarred and partially blind." She pointed to her left eye, which was a soft grey color. "I... I know I'm not what you expected... And I'll understand if you just block me now and never speak to me again... But.." A tear began to form in her eye. "I just didn't want you to see this.... This ugly version of me.." She sniffled, holding back her tears and waiting for a response.

Sabrina was in awe, her hands covering her mouth. She slowly moved her hands away to speak. Her mouth curved into a soft smile as tears started forming in her eyes. "You're just as beautiful as I always thought you were."

Ashley stares back in shock, tears overflowing from her eyes as she became overjoyed. "You... You're not disgusted?.." Sabrina shook her head and giggled through her tears. "No! I don't care about something so superficial! I just wanted you... And you are beautiful." She smiled and placed a hand on her screen. Ashley smiled back and did the same.

They talked for hours that night, forgetting about sleep. Eventually the topic of the convention was brought up again. They figured they had two options: They both share the hotel and spend the weekend together at the convention, or Sabrina pays to visit Ashley in her home.
