Arriving at the theater

The two of them walked up to the theater, and Ruby now realized why Yang actually chose this as her location to hide the key. While the traffic was a bonus, it's main advantage was the sheer distance. They had been walking on foot for nearly a half an hour, something Ruby had never noticed when she came her previously. And then, once they had the key, they had to make that trek back, as well. There was her semblance, but Ruby wasn't confident that'd make up for all the time they spent getting her. She was suddenly very nervous that she might not have chosen the best spot for her key...

But now wasn't the time for that. She needed to work with Weiss and find their key as fast as possible.

"Do you see the rock?" she asked Weiss.

"Uh...Ruby?" Weiss said, pointing to either side of the main entrance. There, Ruby saw decorative pits that each had hundreds, possibly thousands of rocks in them, each. Ruby could practically feel the spirit leave her, her shoulders deflating a bit

"Oh..." she said

"Yeah...we'd better get started. You take one side, I'll take the other."

Nodding, Ruby went to the pit on the left side of the door, Weiss taking the right.

Ok, don't feel bad, Ruby told herself, taking a small step up onto the raised edge of her pit. I might get lucky, and find the rock on the first try!

She knelt down and grabbed one of the rocks on top. After squeezing it for a few seconds, she realized it wasn't the fake rock.
