Arianna turns toward the cocoon

She couldn't miss the sight!

Arianna turned, shaking the branches violently. The cocoon itself shakes as well, causing her to hold her breath. Still, the butterfly begins to emerge. Arianna takes out her phone to snap a picture before preparing a box. With a butterfly, her job was already half complete!

As she reached for her bag, she realized the damage of the thorny bushes. The right side of her sundress was torn along the seam, sending many loose threads dangling along the branches. Not wanting to litter, Arianna tore these away, and remove the threads from her dress to minimize loose bits that may snag her again. The triangle she created in her dress reached half way to her thigh, but when standing it would not be noticeable.

The left strap of her sundress and the slip also had broken, the ends hanging from her shoulder to dip below her collarbone a fair inch. She just tied these straps back together, giving a bit of a lopsided look, but it was not important. She did it without looking.

She needed the butterfly, and did not want it to leave, but in the midst of fixing her attire, she heard some rustling. It was larger than a rabbit or a bird, and it was not very far. She did not want to lose the butterfly, and thought of ignoring the rustling altogether, but she thought any extra shaking that could be caused from her interacting with a new animal might scare the butterfly off, and she could simply back away for now.
