Approach the tree.

As you near tree, it does look out of place being the only one around, though it also resembles an ordinary tree in every way. According to the quest, it should be around here somewhere as well. You keep your sword aimed towards it in case it begins to move, and your party slowly shuffles closer. It feels kind of silly. If it turns out that this tree is ordinary, all of this caution will be for nothing. There's also the matter of what to do about it.

Do we just attack it?

"Well, uh... maybe just shoot it, Snow," you say.

"Right." She draws an arrow from her bow and pulls back the string.

Swiftly, she lets loose the arrow and it lands straight into the bark of the trunk. The party goes silent, expecting something to happen.

The arrow suddenly pops out and falls to the ground. Then vines shoot out from the tree and begin reaching out into the air in various directions, and at an impressive speed. Most of them head in your direction. As quickly as you can, you slice your blade clean through before they reach your body. Meanwhile, Snow begins firing arrows, though they don't do much against your inhuman opponent other than chip off pieces of bark.

I have a spell just for something like this. Fla--

Before you can do anything else, an angry, feminine roar bursts from seemingly nowhere in the direction of the tree. A shape moves out of the trunk as if it were made of liquid--a woman's, with a slender body seemingly made from dense, dark leaves. Flowing down from her head are larger leaves that blow in the breeze, her ears come to lengthy points, and her gaze is completely white. A single pink flower blooms from the side of her head as well. Her body has all that you'd expect to see and has no clothing of any regard. The tips of her breasts come to points, though it's only more leaf-like flesh. She's a beautiful woman, though consists entirety of nature. You immediately assume it must be a dryad.

You're caught off guard enough to miss two vines pass your reach and grab onto Alice's arm and torso. It reels her in quickly. You make chase, but as your golem is brought up to the tree, the dryad shouts.

"Stay away!"

You raise your hand up to halt your allies in case the dryad does something worse. The vines bind her wrists and pulls her up, and then her ankles. They move like snakes, coiling around her figure as she becomes entirely trapped. The poor girl looks distressed. Though upon closer inspection, her face is also glowing blue.

"It is a-all right," Alice mutters. "I will take this, for all of you..."

"How noble," Snow replies, impressed.

The dryad tightens her bindings and hoists her up higher. In response, Alice lets out a quiet moan and you can see a smile she's trying to hold back.

Oh. I see...

"What is it you want? Why are you here?" you ask.

"I said stay away!" the dryad replies. She sounds panicked.

It only gets worse. The dryad now uses her vines as whips, and one cracks against Alice's behind. The golem lets out a scream which at first sounds pained and afraid, though ends with a noise of pleasure. She can't help but begin to smile as it smacks her again, still completely bound with no hope of escape.

She could just like... pop herself apart or something to escape, right? Never mind. There's no point in thinking too hard about it right now.

Snow leans in. "I know it sounds bad at first, but think about it. We don't need to worry. Doesn't she come apart? She probably has no bones to actually break. Why don't we attack now? The dryad doesn't know what she is."

So it is a dryad.

"Yeah but then she'll just grab someone else," you reply. "And are dryads actually evil?"

Delphi suddenly appears on your shoulder. "No. They only get pissy when you mess with their trees."

"So we gotta subdue her enough to get her to calm down," you suggest.

The vines around Alice begin venturing further. One starts pushing up her plain grey top, sliding the fabric up to nearly drop her breasts free. Another squirms between her legs from behind. Her body begins to tremble, and you imagine that if she had lungs, she'd be panting hard. All you can hear from afar is a quiet muffled, "Mmm~..."
