This is my only way out.

You walk towards the door, and take the woman by the hand. She brings you through. It's blinding within, but it only lasts a moment. Your mind drifts away. Soon, you're somewhere different--back on the street. Though, that isn't exactly the truth. You're standing there squeezing your sword, but your body isn't your own. Somebody else is at the wheel. All you can do is watch helplessly through your own eyes. It's a horrible feeling.

Things have changed since the void as well. There are guards are your feet, bleeding and bruised. Your allies are calling out to you, trying to get you to stop. Though no matter how hard you try, there's nothing you can do.

Your body lashes out and you slam your shoulder into Alice, causing her to tumble to the ground. Niki tries to stop you, but you turn and swing your sword up across her shield. Another guard makes his way over, and you thrust out with your blade in an attempt to impale him straight through the stomach, though thankfully before it lands, Delphi binds your torso in her purple bands and yanks you away.

"Wake up!" Eva shouts as she runs over and grabs you by the arm. "I know you're in there!"

"Please come back to us," Amara says.

Niki walks up and slaps you hard across the face. Thankfully, you don't feel it, because it looked like it really stung. "You hurt Alice, Kyle. If you have a stupid ass ghost possessing you or something, I'll yank it out! But you're going to pay for pushing her over!"

Jelly tilts her head. "What... is happening?" she asks.

"You need to fight what is happening," Alice says as she pulls herself up. "Please. I forgive you. I know this is not you."

As you yank on the bands, an arrow whistles through the air. It sticks through your tunic above the shoulder and pins you to the wall. Snow arms her bow with another shot and glares.

Finally, Yin throws herself around you just as Peony does from the side. They squeeze you tight.

"I..." you manage to **** out through your own lips. I'm getting control back, damn it!

Your sword falls to the ground with a loud clang. Suddenly, you take a huge inhale. Your eyes look frantically between the girls around you, and you fall to the ground. Delphi's bands loosen, and you go limp up against the post by your manor's front gates.

"I don't..." you mutter.

"Allow me to help!" Amara calls out to those who are injured.

Yin picks up your weapon. "Carry him inside, Niki. Please."

She nods. "I've got it." Niki lifts you with ease, and your group hustles inside Dragonhide Manor, shutting the door behind you. Amara eventually follows behind.
